Ingredients

  • 30 ounce jar tomato sauce

  • 1 cup water

  • 15 ounces part-skim ricotta cheese

  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoon parsley

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 14 pieces (8 ounces) manicotti noodles, uncooked

Directions

  • Set oven temperature to 400°F.

  • Add tomato sauce and water to a saucepan. Boil the mixture and stir frequently. Then reduce the heat and keep it warm.

  • Mix together all three cheeses, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  • Evenly disperse the cheese mixture into the center of the uncooked manicotti noodles.

  • Using a 13x9 pan, add 1 cup of the tomato sauce to cover the bottom of the pan. Put all of the manicotti into the pan in one layer.

  • Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the manicotti and then cover the pan with foil.

  • Bake the manicotti for 40 minutes or until it looks hot and bubbly. Then remove the foil and bake for 10 more minutes.
