Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh broccoli (or 10-ounce frozen package)

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

  • Cut the broccoli into bite sized pieces. Heat two saucepans over medium-high heat.

  • In one pan, cook the broccoli in a small amount of water for 7-10 minutes or until tender.

  • In the other, toast the sesame seeds until lightly brown and add the oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar. Heat until the mixture is boiling. Remove from heat and allow mixture to cool. Pour the sauce over broccoli and serve.
