Ingredients

  • 12 dried dates

  • 2 ounces Manchego cheese

  • 6 slices bacon

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 475°F and cut the manchego cheese into ½ inch cubes.

  • Slice the dates, remove the pit, and replace it with a cube of cheese. Wrap the date in half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  • Repeat the previous step for the other 11 dates and place on a baking sheet.

  • Bake the dates for about 12-15 minutes or until bacon is crispy and brown.
