Ingredients

  • 1 large clove garlic

  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 8 wedges lemon, for garnish

Directions

  • Heat a grill to a medium temperature.

  • Crush the garlic with salt in a bowl.

  • Add the cayenne pepper, paprika, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix until it forms a paste.

  • Toss the shrimp with the garlic paste mixture until all of the shrimp are coated.

  • Brush oil on the grill grate.

  • Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked.

  • Serve with lemon wedges.
