Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 4 ounces green chilies, chopped

  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese

  • 1/4 cup salsa

Directions

  • Spray a medium frying pan with cooking spray and heat on the stovetop over medium heat.

  • Sprinkle the chicken with chili powder.

  • Add the chicken to the frying pan and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes each side, or until no longer pink.

  • When the chicken is cooked through, turn heat to low and top the chicken with the green chilies.

  • Heat until the chilies are warm then add the cheese on top of the chilies.

  • Cook until the cheese is melted and serve immediately with salsa.
