Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2/3 cup water, divided

  • 2 medium leeks, washed and thinly sliced

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

  • 4 pieces thick white fish fillets

  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill

Directions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Add the1/3 cup water along with the leeks, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir once or twice.

  • Mix together sour cream and flour in a small bowl.

  • When the leeks are tender, add the sour cream and flour mixture and the remaining 1/3 cup of water.

  • Season the fish with salt and pepper. Add the fish to the leeks and cook, covered, about 8-10 minutes.

  • Sprinkle with dill and serve.
