Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 2 oranges

  • 2 cups cranberries

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

  • Cloves, ground, to taste

Directions

  • Zest the oranges and discard the seeds and membrane. Use the zest and fruit only.

  • Mix the orange zest, sugar, and 3/4 cups water in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Add the cranberries and cook for approximately 2 minutes until the cranberries start to pop.

  • Put the mixture into a food processor, add the orange fruit, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves and blend.

  • Refrigerate covered for 12 hours.
