Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

  • 4 ounces linguine, cooked al dente

  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 thinly sliced green onion

  • 1 cup light cream

  • 2 tablespoons chopped sun-dried tomatoes

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions.

  • While the linguini is cooking, place the chicken in a bowl and add the Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat.

  • In a large skillet, add the butter and melt over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook about 4 minutes each side, or until tender.

  • Reduce heat to low and add green onion, sundried tomatoes, basil, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Toss with hot linguine and serve.
