Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup artificial sweetener

  • 1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1 cup mashed bananas

  • ¼ cup applesauce

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 350ºF.

  • Lightly grease a bread pan. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients including flour, sweetener, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.

  • Stir in the egg whites and applesauce.

  • Finally, add the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.

  • Pour the batter into the greased pan.

  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf and make sure it comes out clean.

  • Place the loaf onto a wire rack and allow to cool before slicing.
