great dental office
I am not a big fan of dentists, but Dr. Polevoy's office is excellent. First of all, you never have to wait too long in the waiting room - they get you right in ( I wish my doctor was like that!) The hygienist is very gentle - I love that clean feeling after she's done, and it feels very comfortable. The first thing Dr. Polevoy had to do on me was a root canal - I was petrified because I had heard all these horrible stories about it, and everyone at work got a kick out of scaring me even more. When I showed up for my appointment, I must have been trembling. Dr. Polevoy kept on telling me that it wasn't a big deal, that I wasn't going to feel anything, and I didn't believe him. Well, he was right. I watched TV for a little bit (they have TV's in every room), and then I actually dozed off for a little while. Even when the anesthetic wore off, I felt nothing. After that, I must've told dozens of people about him... he's great. By the way, when a couple of my friends came there, I got a card from Make-A-Wish foundation saying that Dr. Polevoy's office made a donation in my name to them as thanks for my referrals - I thought that was really nice. I highly recommend his office.
