Best of Dentists
Let me preface by saying I generally hate all doctors, and am scared to death of dentists. That being said, Dr. Kim has been fair, ethical, professional, and I have recommended him to my best friends. I have had a complete understanding of costs before undergoing any procedures. He has done extensive work for myself, my friends and my entire family. He even helped my friend, in an emergency, when her own dentist "made a mistake" and cracked a tooth. His technique and manner are gentle and painless. I highly recommend him.

Great Dentist =)
I've had about 5 dentists in my life and I finally found the one! I'm very cavity prone, I recently had a cleaning and i didn't have any...finally! it was such a great feeling. Dr. Kim first resolved all my lingering problems - which took alot of time (a few cavities, an old root canal needed a crown - my old dentist never did it, discoloration etc) then focused on maintenance. He even went through brushing techniques with me and it has made a big difference. Everyone at the office is really nice (esp. Jill) and Dr. Kim has a conservative unaggressive approach to dental care that puts me at ease. He's not out there trying to do everything to my teeth to make money (which I have experienced before) but really cares about my well being. I have recommended him to all my friends.

Beware of deceptive techniques....
I used this dentist for about a year, and finally gave up. He tries to squeeze as much money out of you as he possibly could, even if it involves lying with a straight face. In the last visit (which lasted for about 40 minutes for both myself and my wife), and involved only regular cleaning, we had a clear conversation right before the cleaning that he will only perform the regular cleaning that was fully covered by my insurance. When we were ready to leave, his staff asked me to pay $500 on top of what the insurance was paying them (another $600) saying that they have done something "special". I was pissed because we paid them another $500 just a month before for some other "special" cleaning, and I had a clear conversation with the doctor this time that he will only do what's fully covered by the insurance. When I asked his staff to call the doctor, and reminded him of our conversation half an hour ago, he said that no such conversation happened with a straight face! I am not sure how reasonable it is to expect $1100 for spending 40 minutes with 2 patients, with fairly healthy tooth?
