Thanks for my health new smile :) :) :) :) :)
I put off taking care of my smile for years. I just couldn't find someone who (whom?) I can trust enough to even discuss this with. Dr. Mika at Pearl District Dental is one of the best dentist's I've ever worked with. She made me comfortable enough to discuss my desire to take care of some discolored fillings on my front teeth. I guess I was very comfortable with her low key and personable approach. When I was ready to discuss the subject, she was an excellent listener (I've had other denstist push the subject on me in the past when I wasn't ready and it was always tacky.) I was convinced after she did a filling on one of my back teeth and after I saw some pictures of her work. Folks, althouth they don't advertise themselves as such, this is, IMHO (in my humble opinion) one of Portland's premier clinics for cosmetic dental work. Dr. Mika is a true artist - not only was she able to blend in colors emaculately (and trust me, I was a tough case), but she also was able to cover some minor gaps between my teeth. I love my new smile and can't stop from showing it off. All of a sudden, friends are commenting on what a nice smile I have - sweetness! thanks Dr. Mika.

Best Dental Care -hands down
First of all, Dr. Mika Miyamoto-Shemali at Pearl District Dental (Dr. Mika) is an extraordinary professional. Her technical skills are first-rate, she is constantly learning and growing. She has the latest equipment. Dentistry is a field that has changed dramatically over the past 30 years. Good dentists keep up. Great dentists - and she is one! - stay ahead of the curve. I trust her to handle even complicated and difficult dental work for me. I never feel she is rushed. She always answers all my questions, brings up new topics ("silver" fillings, for example), and takes her time to get it right. She is professional, gentle, friendly and nurturing. Second, I have always received excellent service in every area. Her front desk is well-managed with helpful insurance advice. I feel lucky to have found Dr. Mika.
