About Us: Douglas was born and raised in Emmons, MN, a small town in south central Minnesota on the border with Iowa. He attended Glenville-Emmons High School, graduating in 1992. Douglas attended Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology. Matriculating to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, where he graduated as the Valedictorian of his class in 2003. Douglas opened Advanced Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic in 2003, taking over a prestigious, long-established Chiropractic practice in Shoreview. He is known for his caring demeanor and his dedication to the well being of his patients. He has continued to strive for professional excellence by attending post-graduate courses and has a mission to always learn the most advanced ways to care for his patients. He enjoys treating patients from all walks of life and has a special interest in athletes. Douglas has been married to his wife Heather for 6 years and they are the proud parents of two children, 4-year-old son Gavin, and 1-year-old daughter Gabrielle. Away from the practice, Douglas is active in his local church, and as an avid sports enthusiast, he regularly participates in baseball, basketball, and golf.
