Thank you for sharing the Stephen's story, it's wonderful when you can change someone's entire life by eating natural foods, I wish more people would do this for their families.

I have to agree with the Aloe Vera. I tie into a health topic every Saturday morning, and many people speak about how Aloe Vera has help with the issue of Acid Reflux.

I appreciate the information. I also have acid reflux. My doctor prescribed Nexium. I felt nauseated after taking the pill. The doctor told me to discontinue taking it.

I'm glad I found alternative ways to get rid of this problem. Thanks.

So do you also snore? Do you breathe through your mouth at night? You may also have sleep apnea which also causes GERD.

I was diagnosed with a pretty major case of Acid Reflux disease.

I took the medication for a while which definitely made it better.  However if and when I missed a pill the acid was much worse than it ever was before I started taking the medicine.  I decided that I didn't want to be taking pills for the rest of my life so I stopped taking them all together.  I'm fine most of the time but every so often it surges up, especially when I'm working out.

Does anybody know if there are any home remedies to help prevent the surge while working out, or at least tone it down a bit?

Thanks,

Paul

I have found a personal MIRACLE CURE for the acid.  Apples!  I've only been eating Fuji apples, so I'm not sure about other types.  Within literally two to three minutes of eating an apple my acid will be completely gone.

About two weeks ago I was having some of the worst acid I've ever had, I raided the cabinet looking for almonds (which was a desperation move since they barely do anything for me) but there were none!  So I just decided to try to put something in my stomach and maybe drive to get some antacid.  Had the apple, minutes later it was completely gone.  I felt incredible.  It has worked consistently for me every day ever since.

Today I decided to try a new experiment.  I would always get the most incredible acid every time I lifted weight.  So today I had an apple before the workout.  It worked, no acid!

I had tried a lot of different things but finally apples have done it.  Raw almonds do close to nothing for me.  Apple cider vinegar supposedly helps a lot of people but not me.  I had about given up.

APPLES!  Spread the word.

You can completely rid yourself of this problem if you start drinking Alkaline water. Our bodies are so acidic from the American diet that it would take pounds of vegetables to neutralize the acid.1 teaspoon of mountain dew and it takes 4 glasses of Kangen ionic water by Enagic to neutralize it. Ive had stomache problems and migrains until I started drinking this water. My partner bought a machine and we are now giving the water to all our customers and anyone that wants to try it. If you want you can call us 208 2557376 for more information since weve become representatives.Anyone that buys one automatically become reps. If you buy one it would be because you are completely in love with the product the machine produces and you automatically want to tell everyone you know how it has helped you.If you sell one you get a thankyou check from the company, but the thank you truely is the health benefit you will get and be able to give to everyone you know that has pain acid reflux high blood prssure diabetes and the list goes on. Check it out I promise no more acid in your gut.

I get really bad acid reflux if I don't eat
before a workout. If I eat a whole meal like
breakfast, I get stomach craps But I
did find a way to solve it. Crackers!! Just
eat a couple crackers and drink some water. It
did wonders for me. Hope this helps.
