I am hoping that someone out there can give me
some outside advice. I have been married to my
husband for 4 1/2 years. Almost 2 years ago I
got a tattoo of. I had been planning on it for
more than a year before that. While away on a
business trip I was discussing with a
friend/co-coworker (I have known for 15+
years) about getting one and he said his
daughter was tattoo artist, she would give me
a deal. I contacted her and got my tattoo done
for my birthday. I text my friend to tell him
she got it done. Then my husband was mad. He
is now constantly accusing me of sleeping with
this friend (this is not the only guy he
accuses me of sleeping with). Recently it has
become a very big topic of our arguments. I
decided on my own to remove the tattoo
thinking that this would prove to him that I
care more about him than the tattoo that I had
wanted for years. I have told him what I am
doing but he still continues to hold it over
my head. I thought by removing it then we
would be better. But that is not the case. He
says that is not the only thing but when
talking to him that is the only thing he
brings up. Any thoughts? Should I continue to
go through the tattoo removal process? How do
I get through to him that I have never slept
with my friend or anyone else?
