Being a mom is an enjoyable but difficult role as well. You are always busy attending to all the needs of your kids and husband. Because of this, you often forget how to take care of yourself, particularly your health, your physical looks, and personal needs, because time seems to be running out and there’s a lot more things to do. But all these things are not really an excuse for you not to get fit and active!
Weight gain is one of the most common problems moms encounter, and usually having a hard time getting back in shape. So here are helpful ideas on how to be a healthy and fit mom!
1.Make a list of priorities – yes you’re a mom and you have a long list of things to do but make exercise be on top of your list. 15-30 minutes of exercise will do well for you. Take it as your time alone and think of it as something you need to accomplish, and don’t forget to enjoy this moment!
2.Workout early in the morning – do workouts first thing in the morning when all the kids are sleeping. Your 15-30 minutes of exercise could be done this time. This will jumpstart your day and make you active the entire day.
3.Find fit friends and join exercise classes – start surrounding yourself with people who have the same interest and concern on health and fitness. You can also join groups and classes, may it be an exercise or dance class. These will help you stay motivated and focused on your goal of being a fit mom.
4.Workout videos – if you can’t stand to exercise in public, then start collecting workout videos and do your exercise activity privately. This can be done during your baby’s nap and again, don’t forget to enjoy!
5.Exercise with the kids – bonding between parents and kids are important, and exercise can be more fun to do with your family. Take a lot of time to walk, jog, swim, hike or stroll and other physical activities that the kids enjoy.
6.Healthy meal – always plan a healthy meal for the kids and yourself. Minimize and avoid unhealthy snacks for your kids, this won’t do them any good. They can eat what they like but impose limitations, and eat more of the healthy meal you planned and prepared for the family.
Remember, to take good care of yourself, because a family with a healthy and fit mom is a happy and joyful family!

Those tips were great. I just wanna add one
tip in your healthy meal plan. I suggest you
use natural sweetener instead of sugar in
cooking, baking or preparing meal for your
kids. I'm using the brand Natvia. It has low
calorie and carbohydrate content compared to
sugar. It is healthy too. They has the same
sweetness of sugar. Natvia is good. Try it.
