My friend lives in Missouri. Her mother broke her pelvis. Her brother wants to put mom in a nursing home. My friend wants to go home with mom and take care of her during her convalescence.

The hospital social worker's son is a good friend of the bossy, loud brother and has developed something near the brother's attitude toward my friend.
Where can I help her go for help? Mom is 87 years old. Until she fell she was in perfect health and her mind remains as sharp as ever.
