Taking the Fear Out of Birth. I have a workshop that is given at Babies R Us and libraries at NO CHARGE. The work shop explains that TV and the Movies have convince women that when labor starts PANIC follows. 50 years ago if you went to the hospital to have your baby there was something wrong. Now, women could not imagine having a child in the natural setting of home. Instead it would be safer to have children where the sick people go. This would be different if the infant mortality rate went down because we are having babies in the hospitals.
