Your story is very sad, however, this does
not mean that there is a connection
between autism and vaccinations/toxins.
In fact, scientists have proven that there is
not a connection. It is also a fact that the
tabloid press have been running with this
false assumption for about 10 years now.
The fact is that autism generally appears in
children at around the age of 2 years. Some
develop it before vaccination, some after.
However, vaccination is not the cause.
Did the same industry pay you to say that, that paid to falsify the scientific studies?
Have you ever looked at the ingredients in vaccinations? Would you feed them to a child? No, so why would it make sense to inject them directly into a child's bloodstream??
Jinny, I have certainly not been paid to
make these claims. They are simply based
on the research that I have read. Show me
the evidence (circumstantial evidence does
not count) that there is a link.
Based on your fear of toxins, you should
never allow any vaccination or medication. I
do not have all the details to hand (I am
standing at a bus stop) but the fear
surrounding mmr emerged after newspaper
'scientists' declared a connection. This
connection has never been proven by the
scientific community. However, it is fuelled
by sad stories such as the ones here and in
the press, which are not based on science,
only emotion.
But please, if you know of a scientifically
proven connection, please let me know, as
my partner is expecting our second child.
Update: I am at home now, and found some research (there is more, but this has some very good quotes):
"Parents need have no more fears about the triple vaccine against
measles, mumps and rubella. A study of more than 30,000 children in
Japan should put the final nail in the coffin of the claim that the MMR
vaccine is responsible for the apparent rise in autism in recent years...."
"...parents panicked and vaccination rates plummeted after
gastroenterologist Andrew Wakefield claimed in a 1998 study that MMR
might trigger autism, although the study was based on just 12 children
and later retracted by most of its co authors."
"Not one epidemiological study has revealed a link between the vaccine and autism."
People should really look at diet and environment (pollution, indoor chemical as well as outdoors).
One thing I have always done is avoid all sprays. It shocks me that people use air fresheners, spray on deoderants and purfumes, with children around. If you want toxins, then these are more likely to cause harm!

And some more research: http://www.nap.edu/openbook.php?record_id=10997&page=1 "The committee concludes that the body of epidemiological evidence
favors rejection of a causal relationship between the MMR vaccine and
autism. T"

I will not vaccinate my children! I will use natural ways to keep their immune system up. I do believe Autism is caused my chemicals. I have a friend's son who this happened to. We got him on some great products to put his body back in balance and the autistic tendencies are deminishing
Dr. Andrew Wakefield has been found guilty by the General Medical
Council for serious professional misconduct over the way he presented
his research on the MMR and autism.
....few people knew was that Dr. Wakefield was being paid by legal teams
that were looking for evidence of a connection between autism and MMR.
Also, he gathered blood samples from places such as children’s birthday
parties (paying ÂŁ5 per blood sample to the kids).
Definitely vaccinate. All 3 of my kids have been vaccinated and I
truly believe it is better to be safe than sorry. There are so many
diseases out there. We as parents need to be proactive and
vaccinate our children!!
Doctor's talk about vaccines on a talk show, watch video, bullsh*t the debate is over, are the preservatives in vaccines good for the human body, short or long term???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMrFV2rnHlo&feature=player_em bedded
[QUOTE=jonpaul] The debate is officially over. Dr. Andrew Wakefield has been found guilty by the General Medical
Why don't Amish Mennonites have high cases of Autism? They don't vaccinate either!!
