I have just completed a four month regimen of CoQ10 in morning and Active Red Yeast Rice (Extended Release; 160mg)in the evening to lower my triglycerides, cholesterol and LDS -- all of which were inching out of normal range.
I am happy to report a 30% reduction in triglycerides and cholesterol and a 50% reduction in my LDLs. For the LDLs, I dropped from top to bottom of the range: 130 to 75.
The only other change in my routine was to cut back on white carbohydrates, mostly bread and pasta.
I strongly recommend the CoQ10/ Red Yeast supplements. I was skeptical at first, but am a believer now.
