Dr. Alvin Burstein has studied and passed the qualifications for psychiatry. I know that he means well in his method of treatment, but it doesn't work for me, so I must find another Dr.

When I visited him he was repeatedly very discompassionate and didn't realize that the medications he gave me were making me worse instead of better. I saw him as he takes my insurance that many Dr's don't accept.

My friends and spouse reported that I was worse after an appointment than before, He gave me tons of sedating medication which had the opposite effect on me and he didn't understand it. The medication has cost my insurance company thousands of dollars and me hundreds which I can't afford. I also agree with this after stopping the medications he wanted me to take.

I have a weight problem, but he is adding to the problem by treating me badly about it. I was humiliated horribly when he said to his medical student, "GET A WEIGHT!" in a very loud and mean way. He insisted on geting my weight, but doesn't weigh his other patients. I can't be treated this way anymore. I know I have a weight problem.

He appears to think that I am more mentially ill than I am and he doesn't understand it. I am an intelligent person and treated as if I am not bright.
