My mother was referred to Dr. Handshoe after chronic coughing and after a chest xray, seeing spots on her lungs. We have been SO happy with Dr. Handshoe and his staff, all of his staff. Each time my mother has had an appointment at least one of her daughters, up to three of her daughters, has always been allowed into the room and Dr. Handshoe and his nurse speaks to all of us and asks all of us if we have any questions at all. We are all very thankful for him and his staff as my mother is making a remarkable recovery!

Trying to make an appointment with Doctor Hanshoe was a nightmare. I called 5 days ago to make an apointment for my daughter, Summerville Medical Center ER found that my only child has a rare case of Pneumonia and refered her to Dr Hanshoe for a follow up with in 5 days. I called to make the apointment and was told I would have to take her to a family docotr before I could make an appointment with Dr Hanshoe even if I have a refferal from the SMCH. I went to the hospital told them what was happening at Dr Hanshoes office, They kindly gave me more paperwork so that I would be able to make the appointment. Again I called Dr Hanshoes office, after being placed on hold for 4 minutes the woman told me I would have to bring the refferal to the office before they could make an appointment. Please do yourself and your family a favor call another doctor's office before trying this doctor.
