Jasprit Takher
After finishing medical school at St Matthews University School of Medicine, Dr. Takher completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine Mt Sinai in New York. After working as Clinical Professor at Mt Sinai, Dr. Takher took the position of Associate Program Director at MountainView Hospital here in Las Vegas. Winning numerous awards for teaching speaks to the fact that Dr. Takher?s passion lies with training the future generation of doctors. Educating the residents about good patient care and the value of being a physician is something he takes a great amount of pride in. He is a staunch supporter of evidence based medicine and is constantly reviewing the literature to remain up to date on the current standards of practice. Dr. Takher is an advocate of listening to the patient?s needs and providing them with the best care possible. Currently, Dr. Takher is a clinical assistant professor at University of Nevada School of Medicine Reno and Assistant Professor at Touro University Las Vegas. In addition, he is the Program Director of the Transitional Year program at MountainView Hospital.
