Dr. Crombie graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1987. After graduation, he joined the practice of Dr. Terrence Cavanaugh; it was at this point that Dr. Crombie started taking advanced study coursework in complex and comprehensive dentistry.
When Dr. Crombie set out to establish his own practice in 1990, he carried his commitment to comprehensive dental care with him. He continued, and has since continued, to pursue ongoing education: broadening his studies to include cosmetics within the framework of comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Crombie has completed all of the coursework offered by the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, headed by Dr. Frank Spear. He has also completed the entire continuum of courses at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Crombie's dental philosophy is heavily influenced by the Dawson/L.D. Pankey comprehensive approach to dentistry.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Outside of the office Dr. Crombie enjoys spending time with his family: his wife Linda and their three children.
