Education Dr. Lisa Eng, D. O. is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree from NY College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. Dr. Noumi earned his medical degree at Damascus University. Gloria Dominguez is a certified midwife and earned her Certificate in Midwifery in 1998. Nurse Jacqueline Chapman is a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Vocational Educational Extension Board in Nassau County.
Training Dr. Eng's osteopathic rotating internship and residency in obstetrics & gynecology were completed at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Eng has been in private practice since 1995 and is the owner of New Life Ob/Gyn, LLP. Dr. Noumi is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Gloria Dominguez worked at North Central Bronx Hospital and then at St. Luke’s Roosevelt hospital for nearly 10 years before returning to school and achieving a Certificate in Midwifery in August of 1998. Upon graduation, she returned to St. Luke’s Roosevelt for several years and has been in private practice since 2005. Nurse Jacqueline Chapman is also a trained Lamaze Specialist, Certified Lactation Consultant, and is ACLS, NRP, BCLS and NCC Certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring.

Hands down the best! The midwifes, nurses, doctors and staff were amazing! This was my 2nd time having a baby but first time at a birthing center. What a huge difference from a hospital. It was more nurturing and less clinical. I had my husband, mom and sisters there. I loved how private it was - they even had a little kitchen area. The center is brand new, clean and just beautiful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a REAL natural birth to have their baby there.
