TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM
Atrium Senior Living of Park Ridge works in close collaboration with Atrium Post Acute Care of Park Ridge to provide transitional care to patients who no longer require in-patient rehabilitation, but are not yet ready to return home. Our Transitional Program allows residents to extend their recovery in an independent, yet supervised setting.

Created with the caregiver in mind, the Atrium Senior Living of Park Ridge Respite Care program offers those who care for loved ones an opportunity to take time away to relieve stress, restore their energy and regain balance in their daily lives. Our Senior Living program provides permanent housing for seniors and others requesting some level of assistance or oversight that provides the comforts of home with added services such as nursing care, housekeeping, personal care amenities, fitness and wellness programs, social activities, courtesy transportation and prepared meals.
The team members in our communities provide supervision or assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of services by outside health care providers and monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety and well being. Assistance may also include the administration or supervision of medication and personal care services provided by our trained staff.

Our specially trained teams of therapists from Atrium Post Acute Care of Park Ridge provide out patient physical, occupation and speech therapies. From traditional therapies to treatment plans for a more complex recovery, our goal is to help restore strength, coordination and mobility so the patient or resident can return to the highest level of independent functioning possible.
Our team also educates and trains patients and their caregivers to assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, eating and grooming; provides therapeutic activities for memory and comprehension and helps with verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

This place is horrible. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE - they will die here. They are sedating the residents - they are "snowing" them. I had a private evaluation done when my mom was found comatose
