I saw Dr.Marco for a second visit for pain in my left knee. After the first acupuncture treatment done 4 days previously, I noticed less stiffness and pain in my knee. He again was prompt and saw me immediately. He performed the acupuncture treatment and checked on me frequently during my visit. After the treatment, as my pain was gone, he advised I call him as needed if the pain should re-occur. I would highly recommend him.

I am currently into my 4th month of treatments, twice weekly, with Dr. Marco. I first contacted Dr. Marco in Dec, 2016, with a medical diagnosis of Stage 4 bone cancer with tumors/holes in most of my bones including arms, legs, hips, thighs, etc. My pain threshold was a 10 on my right side from above my knee to my waste. My breast cancer from 2014 metastasized into the bones. Previously I reluctantly used traditional methods of surgery, kimo, and radiation...which left me free of cancer but broken down. This time I decided to go with the alternative healing methods. I knew of Dr. Marco's reputation. This was my first acupuncture experience. Prior to my scheduled surgery to put pins & a bar in my right leg ( already in severe pain) I called Dr. Marco to see how confident he was to help heal this condition. It was a very encouraging conversation, After a day of contemplation, I was convinced and confident that I would heal and be gentle with my body. I canceled the surgery, limo & radiation plans and went forward with a 100% conviction. I also had broken a rib on my right side from coughing during a cold which started my journey with doctors concluding with my diagnosis of cancer. My treatment included an 8 month commitment towards wellness. This was comprised of two appointments a week for acupuncture, cancer healing/mucous elimination herbs, cleansing herbs, a nutrition plan free of dairy, sugar, raw fruits & veggies...encouraging basmati rice, dal (. Indian term for dried beans or lentils for the protein-being a vegetarian, greens and food fruit & vegetables. Pizza and ice cream were out! Walking gently 30 minutes a day was recommended along with meditation for 15 minutes a day. I was already familiar with meditation & chanting the Hare Krsna Mantra so continued with this and all his suggestions. He told me I should feel better each visit. Within the first two weeks my 9-10 pain threshold on My right side reduced to about a 5-6, My weight was a concern for me because of my delicate bones. Without any great effort I began to see my weight come off almost naturally...as though to take undo pressure off of my hips & legs. Each week my pain changed from side to side, My lower back, My left ribs, etc. Dr. Marco encouraged me through these last three months to remain positive & hopeful....which was easy for me considering my alternative. Each week I saw improvements with pain thresholds becoming lighter. A few times I had some severe pain and just continued to work with program....I never lost hope . Now, beginning my 4th month, my right rib is healed, my severe level 10 pain on my right side never returned , my back pain is reduced to a weak feeling...and I continue to see the movement of different discomforts as "healing pain" I am very confident that I made the right choice; am on the road to wellness & some great new habits of nutrition, overall great health & exercise etc, I know where I would be today with the traditional treatments. I am encouraged, very happy, and so pleased that Dr. Marco came into my life. Another great blessing. I am looking forward to the next 4 months and beyond....having a renewed lease on life. .
