Services I help you fix your most important relationships: your partner, your kids, your parents, your friends, your work.

Arguing over money? Not only am I a relationship counselor; I'm a financial counselor, and the author of multiple books on family finances. I've seen firsthand the peace that comes of financial security, and teach techniques for solving your money problems. I have the tools you need to find financial peace.

Struggling with marriage? Relationship counselors should know what they're talking about. My husband and I have been happily married for two decades. But I'm experienced with the difficulties of mediating a divorce, custody, remarriage, and a blended family. I'm a big fan of peaceful, amicable families for the mental health of both kids AND adults.

Is parenting causing you headaches? We've raised seven children and have seen everything: adoption, special needs, teens, college, culture change. Teenagers are my favorite people. I teach and mentor teens and younger children through the YMCA and my local church congregation. I'm also the author of several books on education and parenting. And what I didn't live through personally, I've seen while working at the Seattle Crisis Clinic.

Is your work life causing problems? I've worked at executive levels for corporations around the world, have hired (and sometimes, sadly, fired) staff, seen hundreds of resumes, and worked with volunteers, employees, colleagues, and CEOs. I might have some insights for your career that will get you back on track.

Facing divorce or a tough breakup? Mediation fixes a thousand things. Though I'm not a working attorney, my law degree and mediation experience might provide some useful insights as you struggle with the decision to stay together or split up. When partners decide to split, I work with a network of excellent family law attorneys in King and Pierce counties to minimize conflict and mediate peaceful, amicable parenting and custody arrangements.

Credentialed as a Certified Counselor, with multiple degrees in family counseling, financial planning, and law. I'm the author of more than a dozen books on education, religion, and financial planning and investing for families. My graduate work is in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Spent the better part of 13 years living overseas, and I also know the struggles of blending different cultures and languages.

Excellent counselor. Helped me and my son start talking again. Had good ideas about why were having trouble and helped us learn how to talk without arguing.
