“I must say that I have always thought that any sort of family therapy was just a good opportunity (for some people) to earn money. Nothing more. At all. But things have changed because I met Dr Paula Lin. I have been working with many different therapists for a couple of years and all of them were not good enough. Working with Dr Paula Lin – for marriage counseling – has been a supreme experience in my life! The lady strikes a perfect balance between letting us (me and my wife) share our piece and letting our experienced shape the very sessions, and getting involved at just right times and in the most suitable manners so that the therapy session could be gentle and useful.
I have found that Dr Paula Lin provides the most suitable mix of understanding, compassion and empathy in case the client is willing to get over a little discomfort. The therapists that I have worked with before used to share information about their own lives and sometimes about the personal affairs of their clients (can you imagine that?!). Thank God, Dr Paula Lin never did that! In the process of communication with Dr Paula Lin I could feel both – confident and safe, and, what is more, highly motivated to carry on with my relationship!”

“An actual reason why I gave preference Dr Paula in was that she had professional connections with Porter Ranch Counseling. As you know, good professional background makes you think that the person you are dealing with is reliable, experienced and competent enough to handle your problems. My situation was worse than hell. First I had everything a man can dream about – a beautiful and caring wife and two amazing kids. We were happy. I guess our family was like the one that you see in Hollywood movies…And I destroyed it all. I got fired. I began to drink. First I spent hours at the local pubs with my pals. Then I didn’t want to go out. I drank alone. I realized that I was in hell, when my wife took the kids and moved to the other apartment. Dr Paula Lin saved my life. She pointed out that my problem was psychological. I realized that the fact that I had lost my job wasn’t that bad. Now I’m clean. I don’t drink at all and I believe that one day I will have my family back!”
