Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy is a gentle hands-on technique to manage swelling/edema and restore tissue health. MLD is indicated both before and after surgery to clear toxins and assist healing. I studied Lymph Drainage through Bruno Chikly/Upledger Institute and Cross Country CEU, then completed my Certification through Gunther Klose Training and Consulting in 2011.
Restorative "Sea of Tranquility" Massage is the River Stone Signature Massage, an integrated blend of Deep Tissue, Swedish and Hot Stones massage. In 2004 I participated in a mentor-ship program at Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe, NM, in order to refine my skills and eventually develop my own Sea of Tranquility massage.
CranioSacral Therapy follows the production and distribution of cerebral spinal fluid (glymph/lymph) from dura mater around the brain, through the physical and subtle bodies. An assessment will locate and restore health where blockages occur in the soft tissue of the body. CST is a gentle treatment originating in the osteopathic traditions and properly introduced to the massage therapy community through John Upledger, DO, and the Upledger Institute where I completed CST1 and CST2.
