This guy is more like a car dealer than a foot doc. All he does is shuffle his car back and forth . Maybe once a month you see some patients visiting his forest hills location.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PODIATRIST
First of all I went to see dr silva if you want to call him a doctor because I had a toe fracture and ripped my toe nail off. When arriving to his dirty office that was out dated and no clean . His wife the secretary was complaining about how insurance companies do not pay doctors enough money to treat patients as I notice he had checks of payments he received on the wall. He immediately told me he had to remove my toe nail which I later found out that I didn't have to have removed . He took a x Ray and told me the toe was broken thank you captain obvious you can read a x Ray . He banaged the toe up and went on my merry way ..

I had a follow up appointment a week later to get the bandage take off and to inspect the toe . He told me that the toe looked infected and that he was positive that I had osteomyelitis ( I'm 30 yrs old and very healthy) I had no fever, no severe pain , no pus in the wound, no red streaking or red swelling around the toe ( I am a medical professional) and had to send me for an mri. He then tells me that if its osteomyelitis he will go into my toe and remove the broken bone and sew it back up ( wtf this guy is crazy) because the first line of treatment is iv antibiotics no removal of bone . He then proceeds to bandage me back up again with a badadine dressing ( wrong again)

I have the mri done of course negative .. I find a new doctor


This guy is out of control and reckless . Do not go to him even if it's your last resort

I gave a new doctor who is more knowledgeable
