It is also one of the most widely-researched based chiropractic technique. The Activator Method® helps by telling us where a chiropractic misalignment (Subluxation) exits, and most importantly helps us to know when, and when not to adjust. The Activator Methods ® is appropriate for the spine as well as extremities such as shoulders, wrists & ankles.
The Activator IV
The Activator Methods® Adjusting Instrument is a handheld spring-loaded tool that delivers a consistent low-force, high-speed thrust- which can be set at 4 different levels- making the adjustment not only effective but comfortable- for patients of all ages and sizes. There is no "twisting" or "popping" with this technique, and because it’s many times faster than adjustments delivered by hand, the body rarely resists by tightening.
Diversified Technique
At Elite Chiropractic, we also utilize the Diversified Technique. This is one of the most widely used full-spine techniques amongst chiropractors worldwide. It is classified as a high-velocity, low-amplitude adjustment: with the objective to reduce nervous system interference by restoring motion and alignment in the spine.
