Dr. Carla Lee's dermatology practice encompasses pediatric and adult dermatology. A native of Georgia, Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate training at the University of Georgia, where she graduated first in her class. Thereafter, she completed a PhD in Biochemistry from Harvard University. She earned her M.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. She continued at Vanderbilt to complete her residency in Dermatology. Finally, she completed a fellowship is Pediatric Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego.Dr. Lee is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in the practice of dermatology. She also is board-certified in the sub-specialty of pediatric dermatology. She is a member of the Nashville Dermatological Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. Heritage Medical Associates was founded in 1991, when three independent groups of internists came together to form an organization that would be ideally suited to continue to offer quality patient care in the ever-changing health care setting. From the original practices, we have grown to be the largest independently-owned multi-specialty group in Middle Tennessee, with over 100 physicians and other providers practicing more than a dozen specialties. In addition to the physician practices, we offer a full range of laboratory and diagnostic services, including advance imaging such as mammography, CT and MRI.
