Mark Farbman, OD

A member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. Farbman is the former president of the Frederick County Optometry Society, and has served as the Western Maryland Liaison for the Maryland Optometric Association. He is a former optometry consultant at the Maryland School For The Deaf, and was recognized by President Clinton for his participation in the VisionUSA program which provided free eye exams to the needy. With post graduate certification in both Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pharmacology, Dr. Farbman has been caring for the visual needs of Fredericktonians since 1973. He has a special interest in contact lenses and was an early member of the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Farbman has advanced training in the fitting of all types of contact lenses including soft, rigid, gas permeable, astigmatic and bifocal designs. His patients range in age from eight to eighty.
