I knew that if I had seen these patients before their heart attacks, I could have taken steps that most likely would have prevented their heart attacks in the first place. “If you can prevent the heart attack from happening, then you can have a greater impact on people’s lives. alarmingly, 25% of the time the first symptom of a heart attack is sudden death. Most people do not survive heart attacks unless they are close to medical attention. so screening for heart disease and preventing heart attacks is insurance for your heart and peace of mind. “I really enjoy seeing my clients make dramatic improvements in their health. Many who lose excess weight and can stop taking certain bloodpressure and diabetes medications through diet and exercise. also, I feel a sense of pride in helping people achieve their health goals. the secret to great care for the patient is actually caring for the patient. treating others as you would have them treat you is a simple but very powerful way to practice medicine. “I hope to give my clients better health and, in turn, more happiness. I think my best quality as a practitioner is that I treat every client as i would my own family – with the respect and dignity they deserve. I take the time to listen to their problems and make sure all their questions are answered and they are educated. I offer positive feedback and motivation. My patients are a true inspiration to me. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Jacobi for 3pm on 7/14/14. My sister found him on Google when we were looking for a cardiologist near our home in Pasadena. When I walked into Dr. Jacobi's office at 3pm sharp, I was warmly welcomed by Veronica at the front desk. There was a form and pen waiting for me on the counter. "Dr. Jacobi is ready to see you as soon as you're done," she said. I noted her warm demeanor and smiled back. "Thank you." I was immediately pleased. The paperwork was ready and the office impeccable. As I walked towards the plush couch, I remembered a leadership conference I attended many years ago. The keynote speaker was the President and CEO of UCLA's Health System. During his speech, he said that one day in the near future, patients would no longer be waiting for doctors to become available, but rather, doctors would be waiting for patients. I was pleased to see that the day had finally come when a doctor was waiting on me for a change. The form was simple and straightforward, about 90 seconds to complete and sign. Just as I was signing the form, Dr. Jacobi opened the door and greeted my sister and I with a warm and welcoming smile. He introduced himself and walked us to our room. Once we were settled in our seats, he turned to me and asked how he could help. I wasn't sure how in-depth to go with my medical history because doctors are usually pressed for time. "Depends on how much time we have doctor," I responded. He smiled and said, "We have all the time we need. I'm here to help. Start from the beginning..." His sincerity put me at ease. I handed him my medical records and test results, one thick packet at a time. He allowed me the time and space to explain things in detail, which I appreciated a great deal. My sister also interjected with questions and comments along the way. It was clear Dr. Jacobi had a genuine interest in learning about my case. During the silent moments when he read my records, I relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful view outside his window. About an hour into the consultation, I expressed interest in seeing him again. He walked us over to Veronica's office where she explained the doctor's fees. When she didn't know the answer to a question, Dr. Jacobi came in to answer it for us. It's clear that they work well as a team. Ultimately, I plan to schedule another appointment with Dr. Jacobi. I have faith in his ability to help me heal, from the inside out. Pros: -Reasonable fees -Superb bedside manners -Knowledgable -Little to no waiting time -Genuine interest in his patients -Clear passion for medicine and cardiology -Convenient office location -Free parking (let the attendant know you're getting validated) -Warm, welcoming, and responsive staff Cons: -None so far

Dr. Jacobi skills and care for his patients are exemplary. He is by far one of the best physicians I've had. He's punctual with appointments, and he takes time with treatment. The services provided make a person feel that he or she is a singular patient. This type of service is very rare!
