Dr. Powell graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in August of 2011. After graduation he and his wife, Janet, moved to Owego, NY. and began practicing with good friend and mentor, Dr. John I Perestam and his son, Dr. Alan Perestam. During this time they also traveled back to their hometown of Franconia, NH where they had previously lived for 24 years and where they had raised their two children. There they set up a home office to see patients. In October of 2012 Dr. Dean and Janet made their final move back to their home in Franconia where they treat people with chiropractic and whole body wellness. They haven't forgotten their loyal patients in Owego, NY however. They travel back to NY every five weeks to see patients in the Perestam's NY office.

Dr. Powell has training in the following chiropractic techniques: Diversified Adjusting Technique, Gonstead Adjusting Technique, Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Powell specializes in Logan Basic Technique---a low force, gentle pressure technique, that works with the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and fascia to produce maximum results. In addition to spinal and extremity adjustments, nutritional and lifestyle needs are also highly emphasized and addressed to help patients with long-term health and maintenance care.

After 40 years of back pain he finally got me 'straightened' out. He was the last person I saw when I left NY for FL... got off the table and into the truck to drive down. I miss his skill and haven
