In the midst of a veterinary emergency, I had an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish with this clinic. As I had referenced reviews prior to calling, I am writing this in the hopes that it helps another family with a beloved pet think twice before visiting this practice. The unprofessional-ism from both the vet and 2 vet techs was unlike any other experience I have had. The vet did not come examine my pet or speak with me personally, at first sending the vet tech to discuss an action plan with me in the waiting room (rather than sitting with me face to face and explain what may be going on). I understandably had questions, and after going back and forth (myself and the vet tech) asking questions to the vet, the vet tech raised her voice so loud in talking about me (quite rudely) that I could overhear what she was saying while I was still sitting (at this point) in an exam room. All of this went on while basic, immediate, triage measures were not taken to help my distressed pet. Upon deciding to wait and see my regular vet during normal business hours, I was charged more than was discussed. When I asked about the additional charges, I was told that "we are charging you for putting your pet in a cage". While I chose to stay composed and pay the total, in retrospect the situation warranted being addressed with the manager of the practice. Please review all of your options before deciding whether to visit this clinic (specifically, Dr. Morgan and Audra, the vet tech. I have not had any experience with any other vets at this practice). I would not wish my experience on any other family with a cherished pet in an emergency.
