Simply the most horrific surgical experience possible. This man performed surgery on my left foot May of 2021. One of the 3 procedures called for him to cut and slide my heel laterally to neutralize my high arch. 1 week post op he shows me one x-ray and states that "there was a problem". As a Molecular Medicine researcher I had already done my due diligence regarding the 3 procedures and what I saw on the X ray was clearly bad news. He cut my heel far to posterior and allowed the heel to slide UP off the floor. He installed 2 VERY LONG screws, 1 of which is protruding well into my skin causing quite a bit of pain 3 months post op. What was so infuriating was that he never showed me the image that would reveal to me that he actually slide my heel in the WRONG DIRECTION. That's right! He moved my heel medially and not laterally as was the plan. He tried to get me back in to surgery the following week but there was NO WAY I would ever allow him to touch me again. I have since shown 3 area foot surgeons the imaging and 2 of the 3 actually recommended I file complaints with the Florida Medical Boards about the incident and seek counsel. This man has no business cutting into anyone's foot and Dr Gardner should terminate him immediately. My revision procedure is in a few weeks and now I must endure more pain, more drugs, more time off work and more rehabilitation. This man is an abomination and cannot be trusted.

I was very pleased with how friendly and welcoming they were. They made me feel right at home the moment I arrived. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. Dr. Castellano and his staff were very kind. He has done a previous surgery for my toe and he did a great job. And all my follow up visits were good too. Debbie, who worked at the front desk was very nice too. All in all a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. C to anyone who has issues with their feet.
