Sedative Stretching (MUA or manipulation under anesthesia) is a noninvasive outpatient procedure offered for acute and chronic painful conditions of the neck, back, sacroiliac joints, shoulders, and hips. Sedative Stretching is a viable alternative for those patients that are not responding to traditional chiropractic, physical therapy, invasive procedures such as injection therapy, or even surgery. With the use of sedation, painful muscles and joints are completely relaxed allowing Dr. Johnson along with another physician, to comfortably stretch, massage and move the involved areas more effectively than in an office setting. The results are usually life changing.
Laser Threapy: Dr. Johnson provides the latest powerful technology to his patients. He uses very powerful Class IV laser, which is FDA approved, to improve healing and inflammation of tissue. Class IV lasers can penetrate extremely deep into the musculoskeletal tissue. Most class IV lasers diodes shine with between 3 to 7.5 watts of power. Dr. Johnson lasers have 30 watts of power which penetrates where less wattage lesser lasers can’t reach. The use of this laser tremendously improves healing time, pain reduction, increases circulation and decreases swelling.
