I decided to try a new chiropractor to see my husband went with me for he has not been to one in quite a while. As a new patient the reception staff take all your information and your insurance information. I brought xrays from my other chiropractor so they would not have to make new ones. Dr. Myers felt he still had to run 3 more xray views. After talking he gave me my first manipulation and I was dissatisfied with as little he did. Cracked my neck, put me on a couch and jumped on me to crack my back then ran a vibrator on my back. Next up my husband. They took 6-9 xrays of his back. Being my back is much worse then my husbands I figured Dr. Myers would apply different manipulations on him. Nope he did the same exact manipulations. He actual leaped on my husband so aggressively it freaked my husband out. After the visit my husband immediately noticed he did the exact same things...why our backs are totally different. That turned my husband right off to returning to him. We returned a month later to pickup my xrays and get his because we decided we didnt want to return to him. I will continue to go to my other office and my husband will follow. They would not give me the xrays because they said we have to pay our balance in full or partial payment but we had not received a bill yet. We both are on Medicare as primary and BCBSM as secondary insurance. Come to find out Medicare now does not cover any chiropractic xrays or initial examinations. My balance is $168 ($100 for exam And $60 for three xray views) and my hisbands ($100 for exam and $180 for his xray views). im like WHAT! Now being Medicare did not pay any of it except for the first manipulation. Wouldn't you think the girls at the front desk would know this and mention it to us. Did they have to really take so many views on my husband then do the exact same manipulations on him as me when xrays shows totally different issues. No. My current Chiropractor never took as many xrays (only $60 worth). They also should be well educated that BCBSM wouldnt pickup the balance because what Medicare wont cover either will they. They should have informed us and gave us the option if we want all those xrays done. Seemed excessive. I feel they took advantage of our dual insurances, did not doing their jobs not informing us of the costs to be out of pocket. Lastly our very first appointment we had to wait over an hour to be seen. The place was packed and it was obvious they overbook. We should have walked before we got started and wish we did. Save yourself aggrevation, money and time and go to Minges Chiropractic on Beckley Rd in Battle Creek. They are upfront with you and you never have to wait long and I walk in every time without an appointment. They are efficient, fast and Dr. Gordon doesnt waste hour time BSing on and on. Needless to say we have to pay our outragous bill and then I will be picking up our xrays and I will be booking an initial appointment where I have been going for the past two years. BEWARE and double check all your insurance coverage for they will not or nor will inform you off what will not be covered.

I contacted the office with pain in my low back and during the course of 3 visits I left in more pain than when I arrived. I only saw Dr. Jeromy Myers on those 3 visits and cannot speak for the other 2 chiropractors in that office. His adjustment style is not very precise. I decided to go to Dr. Myers office because he was able to get me in right away and my normal chiropractor couldn't get me in for a week. Now I regret that decision.
