Had never been seen by a Chiropractic physician before but was in so much neck/shoulder pain (& couldn't get an appt with anyone) that I decided I had to give Dr Ballas a chance! Turned out I'm glad I did!! He said I had a bulging disc C4. Being an insulin dependent diabetic, he also wanted me to see my endocrinologist who ordered an MRI. This verified what Dr. Ballas had determined. But to be on the "safe side" my endocrinologist referred me to a neurosurgeon who looked at the MRI results after his exam and said I needed surgery within the next few days. To make a long story short...I did not have surgery but continued under the care of Dr. Ballas. It's been over 10 years since I moved too far away to continue seeing him but trust me, if I could continue being treated by him I would without hesitation for now I have another bulging disc @ L4. The cervical bulge has never caused me any more pain thanks to the excellent care by Dr. Ballas.

Ballas is a pretty good chiropractor but he's too busy selling your products and other services than focusing on the session. I feel like it's more of a store than a doctor's office.
