Dr. Conklin is a former instructor at Baylor College of Medicines prestigious Sports Medical Institute and was the Assistant Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the highly esteemed Texas Chiropractic College before devoting his life full time to private practice at THE CONKLIN CLINIC. He was selected to represent the United States as the active participant in the Advanced Sports Medicine course hosted by the Russian Government in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
His travels have also taken him to Beijing, China to further his education and while there he was named the guest lecturer for therapeutic techniques in the Eastern Healing Arts and he has lectured in Berlin, Germany and in the Hague, Netherlands. He holds post graduate certifications specializing in the treatment of spinal injuries and degenerative conditions and in the application of clinical nutritional treatment for pathological conditions. He has held many academic committee position to include the Post-Graduate Credentialing Committee, Academic Affairs Committee and he was also on the College Board Finance Committee. He is a former Board of Regent and an active financial contributor to the Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. Conklin was accepted and he completed certificate training in Education Leadership at the prestigious Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was recently awarded with the formal European invitation to the United Kingdom for the Blackfriars Roundtable presentations and discussions on Chronic Neuropathic Pain Syndromes with fellow experts from around the world at the University of Oxford.
