I went to see John because my neck, mid, and lower back were killing me. The first thing he did was have me follow him to his exam room where he had me take off my shirt and lay face down on his treatment table. He performed a very thorough exam and said I was very tight in my lower back and that he was going to put me on spinal decompression to loosen me up. He led me to a weird table and asked me to lay face down. He then strapped me in with 2 straps, one around my hips and one around my torso; he tightened them up good and tight. After he hooked up a rope he explained what the table did, he then started the machine pulling me apart at 130# but we went up to 160#. After 30 minutes on that table he unstrapped me and had me follow him to his treatment room. He had me take off my shirt and lay face down on his treatment table while he examined my back again. Then he used his hands to adjust up and down my back, neck, shoulders, ankles, knees, then he had me stand up and he adjusted my hands and shoulders. Then he asked me to follow him to another room take off me shirt and lay face down on yet another table. He strapped my feet tight to the table and said now you’re not going anywhere, and then he explained that he was going to stretch my lower back out sideways now. The table gave a hiss and pulled me tight. John then pushed to bottom half of the table down and to the right to create more traction, and then he moved it side to side to create traction. John did this for about 20 minutes, after the flexion distraction he unstrapped my feet and used what he called a drop table. The table lifted up and he jerked down while he adjusted. John asked me to follow him and said he was going to hook me up to some electro. We went to another room where he had me take off my shirt again and lay face down on another treatment table while he got the needles. As he stuck me with 8, 4 inch needles in my upper back, 8, 6inch needles in my lower back, and 6, 2 inch needles in my neck, he said that he was turning me into a walking pin cushion. Then he said he was going to light me up. He hooked up wires to 8 of the needles and cranked up the electricity. When 25 minutes went by, he unhooked the wires and pulled out the needles. Then he said all done with that now follow me. He led my back to his treatment room and had me lay face down again, he massaged up and down my back and neck for about 15 minutes, after that he said all done now put your shirt back on and follow me. We went back up front where we set up my next appointment and figured my bill which was only $65. My first visit was about 2 ½ hours long, and so have many on my return visits. I have never been to a chiropractor who takes better care of you and pays that much attention to you. I defiantly recommend Dr. John to anyone in any type of pain.
