Dr. Liqing Zhang is able to do complex root canals, impacted wisdom teeth extractions and gum surgeries at the fraction of the cost of a specialist. She worked as a periodontist in China before re-qualifying in 2008 in N.A. as a general dentist. Prior to opening 'A to Z Dental', Dr Zhang worked as an Associate Dentist in Chicago where the majority of her patient base was children. Since Dr Zhang can perform complex dental procedures, she rarely refers to specialists thus saving her patients the inconvenience of potential long wait times, long distances and a higher fee schedule. Dr Zhang practises gentle dentistry by using Dental Vibe, a cutting-edge device designed to reduce the pain and fear associated with the dreaded dental injection for adults and children. Another unique feature that makes Dr Zhang stand out is her ability to use white composite filling material for not only cavities but also to correct gaps, cracks and discoloration of the tooth enamel. Another bonus of the use of white composite resin to enhance smiles is reinforcement/preservation of the tooth structure as there is no need to file down the teeth. Costing a fraction of the standard cosmetic procedures, the use of white composite resin to enhance oral aesthetics has vowed patients and far surpassed their expectations. Sometimes the nature of the problem requires a standard cosmetic intervention which we also offer.Treatment plans are individualized and explained in detail with all options presented. We are conveniently located on Sauk Trail with easy access from the Metra. Parking is ample and free. We serve the South Suburbs of Chicago such as Flossmoor, Mokena and we are easily accessible from Chicago Heights. We accept PPO Insurance as well as adults and children with Medical Cards. For patients without dental insurance, installment payments can be arranged through Care Credit. Emergencies and walk-ins are welcome. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future.
