For your convenience there is lots of free parking up and down the street.

Dr. Johnson attended University of Washington for his BA and went to Chicago Medical School for his MD graduating in 1978. Starting his practice in Chicago, he interspersed time with his practice and teaching at several hospitals until his return to Vancouver in 2001. He is Board Certified with American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been since 1985. Dr. Johnsons practice currently centers on individual, adult therapy.

His office offers an intimate and personal environment with handicap access. Dr. Johnsons goal-oriented, one-on-one style starts with an initial one hour evaluation visit where patient and doctor begin to get to know each other. Dr. Johnson has helped me recover from a very traumatic experience where I didn't really want to live anymore and working through those issues with me has helped me realize that the thought processes I was having weren't what I really wanted for myself. Dr. Johnson has been very very good at always calling me back when I need to talk to him the most if I'm having a flare up or really bad episode or really hard time I'm able to call him and he will speak to me and I've actually done that several times and I've never felt uncomfortable or like he didn't care. I believe he does care hand seeing him has had a tremendous positive impact in my life.

Jan, the receptionist/coordinator is crazy. Schedules for a time, then she thinks she call you to reschedule, reschedules anyway, and says if i don't hear back, you are scheduled. How does this work? In 99% of all others, confirmation is needed. Beware of these folks. Jan needs to get organized, or just give up. She is always frazzled. Run away.
