Counseling is an exploration of our personal lives, and can lead to a discovery of the best version of ourselves. I belive that a therapist should be there as an empathic person who can assist you in understanding why you are currently "stuck" and help you explore your options for a more comfortable life. Typically, when we are in a place where we feel emotionally paralyzed,we are feeling powerless. The hope is that utilizing therapy is a way to help you "get your voice back" and feel empowered again.

Although there are many different theoretical approaches, I realize that not every person is going to respond to the same type of treatment. During our work together, I will assess your individualized needs and then incorporate an eclectic approach to what you need.
