About

Wynde Stinson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Baylor University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, specializing in treatment of children and families, from the University of Texas in Austin. I have gained work experience in a variety of locations to include: Kentucky Medical Institute (Louisville, Ky.), The Austin Wilderness Center (Austin, Tx.), The Brown Schools (Austin, Texas), Cedar Springs Hospital, The Cleo Wallace Center, and Cheyenne Mesa Hospital. I have worked in the Pikes Peak region since 1990.

I have 30 plus years of experience in the mental health field, serving children (aged 4 to young adults) and their families. The past 20 years I have been in my private practice in Monument, Co. I enjoy helping individuals and families heal and I provide concrete parenting tools to improve parent's skills and confidence. I believe the foundation of a person's positive mental health lies in strong attachments and healthy relationships. I enjoy doing family therapy, as well as individual therapy. I am trained in a variety of modalities including art, sand, and play therapy, experiential therapy, and EMDR.

I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety (including OCD), depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, loss, grief, attachment problems, family issues, and school challenges.

I am a provider for Tri-Care Standard and Victim's Compensation. All other insurances will be courtesy billed at no cost to the patient. Reimbursement will be determined by the patient's insurance company.

She’s fabulous—helped my older daughter with a fairly significant anxiety disorder at age 9, can’t say enough great things about her!
