Dr. Sidney Nelson should not be hired for a child custody 730 evaluation in my opinion. We used him and he was completely off the mark. He took forever, failed to control his bias and could not remember key information. His report included over 70 documented errors and omissions. In my unqualified opinion Dr. Nelson is not to be trusted and he is not competent.
My x wife was a well known for her drinking and he failed to even mention it in his report. If you ask around you will find that his reputation in the legal and psychology profession is not very good. On top of doing a lousy job he charged us double and made us pay cash at the last minute. He lacks ethics and integrity in my humble opinion.
