Dr. McFadden was very sympathetic to my situation and developed an effective strategy to help me move forward. I had never seen a counselor before so she agreed if either of us decided it was not a good fit to help me find another counselor. This was not necessary. She was able to answer my questions and put me at ease. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. I was glad that they were located in a safe, small neighborhood instead of in a large facility that would have felt so sterile and public. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. The only problem I had was that she seemed to be into scented air fresheners, which I generally don't like. Thankfully she mostly had spice aromas, not perfume aromas. I always enjoy my appointments here.
Dr. McFadden is extremely professional, highly intelligent and analytical. She helped me to put together some pieces of my life so that I could move forward. I needed a person who could keep up with my thought processing and keep track of the details. She followed up on things we had discussed before and even was able to jump ahead of me and ask me the questions that needed to be addressed. I felt like my visits were extremely valuable for helping me heal.
