Although Jesus spent his time with the lepers, prostitutes and the poor - you will not find that compassion here. I just lost my mother and came here scared, looking for help. I let the office know I was out of work and would have problems paying my full-copay, they happily accepted me and didn’t mention a copay until I had a $400 bill. I was offered a ‘discount’ of %15 But wouldn’t be able to see a therapist until I paid the full balance. I let them know I was here because I need help, had taken time off from work because my depression had gotten so bad and I can’t pay that all at once, can I have a payment plan? - to which they replied ‘Sorry’ and ‘Good-Luck’.
I can’t tell you how devastating that was and how that continues to effected my mental health and trust in any therapist moving forward.
